How to setup SMS notifications using the SMTP notification channel. – email to SMS
**These steps assume that an SMTP notification is configured and active and Enterprise Alert is able to send and receive emails**
- Add a message route for SMS.
- System > Message Routing
- Create New
- Configure settings as shown in the screenshot below
- Matching Destinations should contain *@*
- The module and connection should be your existing SMTP notification channel
- Edit a user and create a new SMS entry in their Contact Addresses
- Test the connection channel by manually raising an alert and setting the destination to be SMS
